“Our kids are our global ambassadors of the future.” ~ Shamini Dhana
Meet “Mompreneur” Shamini, and Dhana EcoKids Apparel, who empower the savvy global kid. Inspired by nature, they partner with artists, one season at a time to share a new story of a land filled with opportunity to discover and enjoy. Dhana EcoKids believes in treading gently on Mother Earth. Their “Wearin’ the World™” collection gives Earth-minded kids what they really want: a green lifestyle brand that carries a message of environmental awareness to the world.
Like us, here at Square Inches of Love, Shamini thinks BIG about the concept of space. When asked to speculate on how the concept of space is being redefined by the digital revolution she replied: “Space is truly infinite with the digital revolution! It has expanded into a virtual world that mirrors one’s thought, reflects one’s vision, and allows one to share on a level never imagined before… All this has become a phenomenon that is global and its truly connecting the world we live in at a mind-boggling, and simply infinite in possibilities, level!”
I have found Shamini and Dhana EcoKids to be inspired by simplified complexity, functionality, a hint of sleekness, and a dash of sweetness. In reply to “What do you think is an architect’s favorite gadget?” she mentioned: “The ice-cream scooper! Functional, slender lines and contemporary in viewpoint.”
Perhaps her definition of Architecture can offer you a closer glimpse into the design thinking behind the Dhana EcoKids Apparel: “Architecture is the overarching design, look and feel of a product to be created for the purpose of depicting a concept, idea or work of art.”
In addition to producing an Earth friendly line of apparel for the globetrotters of tomorrow, Dhana EcoKids shares our passion for partnerships that inspire change and celebrate all the amazing beauty that surrounds us all: On Earth day 2012, Square Inches of Love, along with graphic designer James Viola, collaborated with Dhana EcoKids on a “MAKE EVERYDAY AN EARTH DAY” campaign.
Headquartered in Mill Valley and run by a local “Mompreneur” Dhana EcoKids empowers kids to travel the globe one season at a time to share what connects us all as people. We can certainly assimilate with their vision and passion and are big fans of their products. To learn more about Dhana EcoKids visit one of the following platforms:
