Become a permanent part of an innovative exhibition project and make a large, optimistic public demonstration that the digital revolution and new tools at our disposal can deliver greater social sustainability for our children. Square Inches of Love is collecting content digitally – logos, artwork, photos, ads, graphic design, etc. – from around the world to fill up one million square inches of exhibition space. When filled, the content will be transformed into a playful 3D physical exhibition and taken on tour for kids and families to experience and explore.
Secure a place of your own for $1 per square inch of exhibition space. All sizes of submissions, down to a postage stamp sized single square inch are important. Every inch counts!
100% of all exhibition space net proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
When space is filled, Los Angeles architectural design company, OPeX studios, will transform the collected submissions into a one million square inch custom-printed fabric base, fabricating 3D structural elements to guide exploration of the exhibit & taking the installation on a U.S. tour for all to see! The free touring exhibition will display the results of the collective effort & provide guides for interactive, educational ways to explore the exhibit. Invest today in an idea which uniquely combines elements of marketing, creativity, expression, education & philanthropy; showcasing individual contributions, our global interconnectivity, and the power to use today’s tools to change tomorrow. The earlier you join, the more you can enjoy the growing Square Inches of Love community, and the faster the virtual exhibition space can be filled!
The resulting rich diversity of content – types, sizes, colors, geographic locations, etc. – will be a powerful component of the resulting exhibition, portraying all the diversity we have in the world and how we are all interconnected – interconnected more than ever in history. The project will explore the effects of the digital revolution and our increasing interactions with virtual spaces on the very concept of “space” – our ownership of it, our interactions with it, our neighbors, our boundaries, etc… And, this thought-provoking and engaging project will optimistically explore the power of collective creativity along with virtual efforts to render great outcomes toward greater social sustainability for our children.
May we suggest you help us stun the world with your participation?
